Charles Group Consulting is always seeking energetic, bright, resourceful, and capable interns to assist our firm in providing exceptional service to our clients. Candidates should be highly motivated and have strong interpersonal skills. Interns will assist the firm in all aspects of government affairs consulting and will have a unique opportunity to shadow our professional lobbyists at the Massachusetts State House.
While most of our interns are pursuing bachelors or masters degrees in political science, public policy, or law, we welcome applicants of all backgrounds and degree levels.
Past interns have gone on to work in a variety of fields, including law, public health, public policy, nonprofits, federal and state government.

The Intern Experience
“Interning at Charles Group Consulting has been a fantastic experience. When I was looking for a summer internship, I hoped to have an opportunity to do meaningful work while also gaining skills that would be valuable to me in the future. This internship has definitely exceeded my expectations!
One particularly rewarding aspect of this internship for me was that it bridged the gap between the government and nonprofit fields. Since CGC serves many clients at once, I was exposed to all of our clients’ distinct areas of legislative interest and the different types of work they do in Massachusetts. I even had a chance to do work on behalf of a nonprofit which I knew of from the role it played in my own childhood education in the public schools system.
